Longing to say goodbye, Gabby has taken up her mother’s quest to find something that no one has ever found, a rare natural phenomenon she calls: Outbound Gravity. A small hidden pocket where the effects of gravity are reversed, which may give her the incredible opportunity to travel to the edge of space and confront a missed opportunity.
YOUNG GABBY
Brisbane based actress, Freya, has been working on the crafts of acting, dancing, singing and piano since a tender age. Given her solid theatrical background Freya has naturally transitioned to film. Most recent highlights include working alongside Anna Paquin portraying Young Emily Watson in the Netflix production True Spirit, Young Fiona in Gordon Frosts production of Shrek and Left Right for which Freya was awarded Best Actress Brisbane 48hr Projects.
SANDY
Siobhán O’Shea is an Irish/Australian actress and producer based in South East Queensland. Siobhan is professionally trained in both theatre and film acting with over 15 years of experience. She won Best Actress at both the Stockholm City Film Festival (2023) and Creation International Film Festival (2023) for her role on multi-award winning film “Once Upon A Midnight”. O’Shea most recently played the lead role of Elena in the eagerly anticipated APDG nominated short “Don’t Tell Me You Love Me” filmed at Screen Queensland Studio all in one continuous shot.
WRITER/PRODUCER/DIRECTOR
Clifton Schulke grew up in rural Central Queensland, Australia. His love affair with movies began at a young age after watching Jurassic Park but really took off through his teenage years when his parents bought him a video camera. Clifton has spent the last 20+ years honing his skills in commercials, shorts and features which have accumulated in his latest film: Outbound. Clifton's favorite genre of film is sci-fi. His shorts 'Container', 'Attached' and ‘Outbound’ showcase his love and admiration for the genre.
SOUND DESIGNER & RE-RECORDING MIXER
Thom is an award winning sound recordist, designer and mixer for film and TV. Based at Folklore Sound and Music, some of his credits include Ready Player One, Sweet Country and Goldstone, and he has worked with some Hollywood heavyweights including Amazon, Disney, Marvel and Netflix.
DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY
Peter Szilveszter began his love of films at the age of 5 when he first saw E.T. in Hungary where he was born. His family moved to Australia at the age of 10 and from there he forged his way as a filmmaker, studied 3 years of Film and Television at a local college and followed that up by starting his own production business and cutting his teeth from all facets of production. His first feature was The Legend of Ben Hall (2017) which was highly acclaimed and award winning for its cinematography.
